Hey hey! My second issue is here. Pretty excited! Let’s see what was going on last week.
Revisiting RSS
I’m always on lookout for new things. I’ve also used RSS readers years ago, but I don’t think I really knew what their power is. This week I’ve decided to revisit RSS and RSS readers and started to compile a list of RSS feeds that would be interesting to me. I’ve taken inspiration from Stefan Jundis’s Blogroll page. I checked out Stefan’s list, copied some of his feeds and added more on top of them. Now my morning routine consists of sipping coffee, doing my daily 10 min typing.com training and going through any new articles in my RSS feed.
I decided to use the Reeder app, and use iCloud to sync my feeds across devices. I’m putting my feeds into logical folders like Brands, DevRel, Frontend and Misc. Here’s how my feed looks like:
My thoughts on the Rødecaster Pro
Recently I had a discussion on the Party Corgi discord server about audio gear and my Rødecaster Pro, which prompted me to sit down and write an article on it. If you’re interested in audio gear, check out my article “Rødecaster Pro Review - Is it worth the investment?“.
What are source maps?
Less than 2 weeks ago a Google Chrome writer posted an interesting article on source maps, so I thought to share it with you. It also includes a video that explains what source maps are in a good detail. Check it out!
Experimental Typed Routes checks in Next.js
There’s a new experimental.typedRoutes feature in Next.js that enables automatic checks for invalid links. It also takes into account your rewrites and redirects, which is pretty cool! Bear in mind, the “appDir” has to be enabled first.

The Future of Chakra UI
Sage from Chakra UI wrote an article on his blog about the Future of Chakra UI and the new exciting products that are yet to be released. The whole library is being rebuilt from scratch with new approaches to make room for features like static CSS, reusable headless components, and state machines for the common UI elements. It is an interesting read that lets you peek into the process of solving the challenges that laid on Chakra’s way. Go give it a read!
P.S. If you look closely, you’ll see me in a couple of photos! 😁
